La Vie En Rose Flores Wedding
Every time I look at the dusty hues of the Flores wedding decor I can hear the opening piano chime of La Vie En Rose start to play. A color, as soft and bright as the beautiful trumpet playing of Louis Armstrong. But even more beautiful than their wedding day, is the love story of how Jackie and Frankie first met.
It all began when Jackie was riding in the passenger seat home from school with her mother. Their car had come up on a stop light and a young, handsome man in the car idling beside her looked over at her and smiled. It was love at first sight, or as the French like to say, un coup de foudre, a lightning strike. In a single moment, they felt the years of love that they could share together, as Jackie's mother pulled into the gas station and Frankie drove by he couldn't stop himself from wanting to know the girl he'd just seen. He turned his car around and raced back to the gas station. When he spotted Jackie putting gas into her vehicle his heart beat faster and hands began to sweat. How could he talk to her? He wrote his number on a piece of paper in case his words would fail him. He got out of his car and that's when he first spoke to Jackie. They each left the gas station with love beginning to grow between them.
Over the next four years their love blossomed. Frankie can make Jackie laugh until her nose crinkles, and she knows his secret tickle spot. Their love is light, playful, and strong. He would do anything to make Jackie happy, and she him. Their wedding marks the beginning of their life together as one. It was an absolute honor to know them and photograph their big day!
